Thorin Oakenshield

Here's my latest picture, it's an entry for the Gnomon-Contest, themed ''Thorin Oakenshield''.

I didn't want to depict him fighting off orcs, trolls or stuff, but rather show some deeper side of his character.

The picture shows him at night, a few feet away from the fire and everyone else, smoking his pipe, reflecting, and thinking of old friends and ancestors from distant times.

I've got lot's of time left until the deadline of the contest and i will probably come back to this picture for some changes, so try to see this as some kind of  ''late-wirk-in-progress''
